Justen Hall († 38) was leader of the “Aryan Circle”

He was the leader of the so-called “Aryan Circle” – and now died for the cruel murder of a woman. Justen Hall († 38) was executed on Wednesday evening (local time) in the US state of Texas.

Hall was sentenced to death in 2005. Three years earlier, he had strangled Melanie Billhartz, 29, near the city of El Paso and then buried the body in the desert.

According to the law enforcement agencies, he killed the woman for threatening to expose an illegal drug laboratory owned by Hall’s right-wing extremist Aryan Circle.

After years of litigation, Hall called on its lawyers in 2017 to refrain from further objections to the death sentence. However, the lawyers did not comply with the request and continued to appeal with reference to an alleged mental disorder of their client.

Hall is the 19th inmate to be executed in the US this year. In Texas alone, eight people were executed.
